Kerry-Ann Hosek
Director
Kerry-Ann has been in the field of Early Childhood Education and employed with the Community Program Centers of Long Island, Inc. (CPC) since 2000. She began as an assistant toddler teacher and instantly developed a passion for the field. In her time with CPC she has held positions of Child Care Teacher, Head Start Teacher, Assistant Program Director for Early Discoveries, Home Based Program Manager, and is now the Assistant Director for the Children’s Community Head Start Birth to Five Program. Each of her roles has helped her gain a strong understanding of overall Head Start operations and has shaped her personal philosophy on Early Childhood Education –that children learn and develop through experiences and a trusting and nurturing environment. She also believes that parent engagement in a child’s education is key for educational success. Kerry holds a M.S. in Early Childhood Education: Administration, Management and Leadership.

Christine Reilly
Assistant Director
With 31 years of experience working with kids and 16 years in Early Childhood Education, Chrissy has held many positions at The Children's Community Head Start Birth to Five Program. After getting her start in babysitting, preschools, summer camps, and after-school programs, she joined CPC full-time after college. Over the years, she has proudly served as an Infant-Toddler Teacher, Education & Disabilities Manager, Health Manager, and PJ Center Director holding the OCFS license. Now, Chrissy is thrilled to step into her new role as Assistant Director. Her big goal is to use everything she has learned running these programs to make sure every child, family, and staff member feels loved, completely supported, and ready to reach their full potential. She truly believes that real development means preparing children socially and emotionally, not just academically, while ensuring families, as well as staff, have what they need to truly thrive. She is also currently working toward her Master's in Early Childhood Policy and Leadership (expected December 2027) to bring even more strategy and heart to CPC and the surrounding community.
