Early Head Start Teacher

Early Head Start Teachers must hold a minimum of an Infant/Toddler CDA, or be enrolled in a CDA program to be completed within 18 months. Associates or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred. Teachers are responsible to plan for and assess individual and groups of children, support progress towards NYS Early Learning Guidelines and NYS Pre-K Foundation to the Common Core, and promote family engagement. Preschool Teacher

Preschool teachers must hold at minimum an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, with early childhood credits and prior experience teaching preschool aged children. Teachers facilitate all classroom routines and activities, complete lesson planning for groups and individual children, uphold developmentally appropriate practices, complete required screenings and assessments, and engage with families.
